10 Weekender Bags Worth Going On The Road For

I’ve got a long weekend trip to Aspen with girlfriends coming up in a couple of weeks and I am hoping to pack light since this isn’t a ski trip for us as it is mud season there. We will mostly just be hanging out at the house, taking in the sights around Aspen, and just enjoying each other’s company away from our daily responsibilities. A little down time and recharging before the kids are out of school in just a few short weeks! I won’t need all of the things you need when you go on a ski trip, so I got to thinking about a weekender bag. Being a Stella & Dot Stylist I have a few already, but I wanted to see what else was out there. Much as we’d all love to be jetting off to Europe or Mexico for 10 days at a time, the average American just doesn’t have the time (or vacation days, or, let’s be real, budget) for more than one or two major getaways a year. Weekends, on …

How To Make Your Own Ripped Jeans

Who loves the ripped jeans look? I do! It seems like for the most part they are always in style too! Ripped jeans aren’t a new trend—not even close. But, don’t despair, you CAN give your ripped jeans a polished look with a great top and fabulous accessories giving you more opportunities to wear them! Of course you can buy ripped jeans just about anywhere that sells jeans and most likely for a hefty price. But how fun would it be to make your own, one of a kind, custom pair? Ripped just where you want it! Do you like two gaping …

Spring & Summer Totes: An Oh So Fun Obsession!

Hey Y’all! I love totes! And spring and summer offer the best totes in my opinion. Colors, embroidery, different materials, fun sayings, you name it! The problem is where to put them all?!? They do take up a lot of space. I need to build a special closet in my house just to accommodate all the totes I currently have and to add more to my collection 😊 I popped into my local Francesca’s to see what they had new for the Spring. They always have some cute seasonal things. I am by no means opposed to spending money on classic, long-lasting clothes and accessories, but sometimes it’s the fun, less expensive, seasonal things at at local retailer that can give your change of season wardrobe a fresh look and a little boost! What cute totes thay have for the summer!! There are so many! You definitely need to go to their website. Check out a few of them below, as well as cute totes from two of my other favorites – Anthropologie and Stella & …
