Hi friends! Welcome to another addition of The Sunday Post! How’s the weather where you are? It’s been a roller coaster of temperatures here in Houston, and quite a bit of rain. Yesterday was in the low 70’s and now today the temps will be in the 40’s all day long with clouds. Later this week they say we will be approaching 80!
The frequent changes in weather doesnt’t seem to bode well for our immune systems. Maybe it’s just an old wive’s tale, but it seems that the continually changing weather just keeps the flu roaming around. Which brings me to my first “find” this week.
Getting the flu sucks! And sometimes there is just no way around not getting it. Especially when you live with multiple people in your house. The chances go up! But there are some natural things that you can do to lessen your chances of going down and out. Check out 12 Natural Flu Remedies over at Dr. Axe.

Looking for magic in a bottle when it comes to aging? While there is probably no magic potion, there are some things you can add to your daily facial routine that can at least help. Argan oil is an excellent natural choice and this article over at Natural Living Ideas tells you why.

I’m always on the lookout for easy, weeknight meals to prepare for my family. You know the kind that you can throw in the oven on one pan, set it and forget it. This is one of those dishes. Well almost. Over the course of the 2.5 hour cooking time you do have to do a couple of things, but most of the time is spent in the oven while you can do other things. I’ve made this Buttermilk Ranch Chicken 2 times for my family in the past month and it is a big hit!
